Doctor Who, LOTR, Star Trek (esp. DS9 and TOS). I'm a one-fandom-at-a-time person, and right now my main focus is Doctor Who (specifically Ten).

None. I tend to fixate on one character and don't care too much who they're with. (Well, I did write a bunch of Odo/Kira for DS9, but it was to explore Odo more than the ship per se.) I'm a little dismayed that a lot of people seem to think fanfic is only about shipping.

- I play AD&D 2nd edition. The character I'm playing right now is a 5th level psionicist.

- I'm good with spelling, grammar, and remembering names (especially ones I've seen written).
- I'm willing to beta, BTW.
- I'm married. No kids.
- I'm a cat person. I have six: Zoe, Electra, Karma, Kismet, Leela, and Lancelot. All except Lance are female. Zoe is 18 and has kidney and thyroid issues. Leela has adenocarcinoma. My husband and I also take care of a colony of feral cats who we have trapped and had spayed/neutered.
- I went to New Zealand with my best friend/chosen sister in 2005. Other than a couple of trips to Canada, that was the only time I've been outside the US so far. NZ is amazing. If you're able, go.
- Places I want to go include NZ (again), England, Wales, Scotland, and Ireland.
- Favorite music: Emotional songs sung well, mostly in the genres of soft to medium/hard rock, some Broadway tunes, a little jazz or Sinatra-era stuff. Favorite artists are Michael Buble, Queen, Barry Manilow (before he started his Greatest Songs of the [Decade] kick), Enya, Seal, Elton John, Billy Joel, Bonnie Raitt.
- Favorite actors: David Tennant, Elijah Wood, Henry Ian Cusick (Desmond on Lost), Christopher Eccleston. (Hm, only one of them is American, and two are Scottish.)
- I am skeptical about the paranormal, astrology, etc. I don't believe in a god or gods, either.
- Dislikes include but are not limited to: extremely hot or cold weather, rudeness, people who want to impose their beliefs on others (especially if they're trying to change laws to do so), Paris Hilton, reality TV, horror, religious fanatics, rap, hip-hop, alcohol of any kind, cat poo, Miracle Whip, cole slaw, sweet salad dressing, sweet sauces or glazes on meat, closeups of teeth or pictures of things being done to teeth (don't ask me why).
