Speed's new nickname is Bambi. (See my post about him being mistaken for a deer.) He's got a couple of other nicknames as well: Mr. Pointy and Torpedo Head.

Of course, if he's Bambi, Sky has to be Thumper. Which fits her anyway because she thumps her tail on the floor when you come into the room while she's lying on her side. :-)

Also, Electra is The Princess, Kismet (Kizzy) is Eeper (she had a high-pitched meow as a kitten, that sounded sort of like "eep"), Bijou is Jelly Baby (she nurses like a baby and has a jelly belly), and River is Foof (she's big and foofy). Elton is Weeble (he wobbles *and* falls down). Freddie and Serena haven't really inspired nicknames, though, which they're probably not unhappy about.

Anyone else here have goofy nicknames for their pets?

The longer I have Pippin, the more names she acquires. Recent names are Scoundrel Dog, Skunky, Skunketeria, Pippeteria, and Pippedoodle.

Our pets have always had nicknames. Smokey (our first dog) was called "Dawg", "Bandit", and "Miss Sneaky". Our little feist Snowflake the DH often called "Squatdoodle" (a nickname he also gives to Sophie). Sugar was often called "Boo" and Sissy was my "Celtic Knotdog" (because she would sit or lay in some of the strangest positions. They had a habit of licking the floor or even the carpet for stray crumbs, so sometimes we called them "Hoover" and "Eureka".

Sophie also gets called "Squatdoodle" and "Noisy" and a few other nicknames. Miss Belladonna is often called "Squeaky" or "Stinky" (usually after she's used her cat box). She also gets called "Your Majesty".

Our cat Zoe was like that. I don't remember half the names she had, but one that stood out was Grumpabella (Grumpy + Grizabella from "Cats"). Obviously that was in her last few years (she lived to age 21).

haha, I call my cats a multitude of names...

"Merlin Chin Chin," "Mr. Cherie," "Merlin of Chinchonia," "Chin Chin Cherie," "Ohhoney" (said in an obnoxious voice), "Motherf***ing Cherie," etc.

Helo gets "Helo Monster," "Kilo," "My sunshine," "Lovey," "Gray face," "Teeny Tiny Kitten," (um, he's not tiny at all), etc.
